We ❤ our alumni.
We've been around since 1983, and we are always delighted to hear what life after GIA has been like for you! Follow us on Facebook or Instagram to let us know what you’re up to!
Help us spread the word about GIA by downloading our posters and sharing them in your community. You'll be able to find them here when this year's version becomes available.
Did you know that you can also set your Amazon account to automatically donate 0.5% of eligible purchases to GIV? Sign up here and select Governor's Institutes of Vermont for an easy way to donate while you're buying that sweet reindeer sweater/vegetable spiralizer.
Maybe you're feeling grateful and want to do it the old fashioned way. You can always donate directly to GIV!
Scholarship opportunities for GIA alumni:
Marlboro College (Vermont) Marlboro College is pleased to offer scholarships for students who attend a Governor’s Institute of Vermont. Students who apply and are accepted to the undergraduate program are eligible for a $5,000 scholarship in honor of their commitment to engaged learning and their great potential for contributing to the vibrancy of the Marlboro academic community. For 65 years, Marlboro College has offered students a self-designed undergraduate degree program in the natural sciences, arts, social sciences, humanities and world studies. Currently, 300 students work closely with dedicated faculty and have an active voice in a small self governing academic community. Nestled in the foothills of southern Vermont, the Marlboro campus offers 300 acres of trails, streams, a small organic farm and greenhouse and forest preserves for intellectual exploration and outdoor activities year round.
