At GIA, we like to get right down to business, and classes have already started. For the next two weeks, we'll be busy sculpting, singing, dancing, writing, performing, and expanding our creative community. What better way to spend the summer??
This morning was our first chorus rehearsal, led by Ron Kelly (who is hidden in the image to the left, along with a handful of GIA students and faculty members). We learned how to find our appropriate range, and split into our respective groups of sopranos altos tenors and basses. After a short 30 minutes, we were already harmonizing!
We've got a lot to do during this Institute, so stay tuned to our blog for updates!
