Sam is a first-generation Vermonter and spent most of her youth growing up in the town of Gaysville. She attended The Sharon Academy and continued her education in Wisconsin at Beloit College, where she earned her B.A. in Spanish with a Theatre Performance minor in 2017. She also took many classes in Education, English, Psychology and Critical Identity Studies. During her junior year she studied abroad in Valparaíso, Chile, where she played “Yocasta” in a Chilean parody of “Oedipus the King.” In June she will be wrapping up a year of working as the International Education Graduate Intern at her alma mater. Her artistic passions include writing poetry, acting, directing, dancing, singing, sketch comedy and improv, to name a few. Sam has been looking forward to being an RA since 2010, when she was a GIA student.
