The beautiful limestone that will be used by the GIA Stone Carving Class this summer has been cut to size and is awaiting transport to the studio site at Castleton State College.

Jacob Edgar, a good friend of GIA, is on the move around the globe searching for fantastic music. He has a Vermont-based world music record label, Cumbancha, and a PBS show called Music Voyager. He’s also still involved with Putumayo Records. Watch a video profile of him from Vermont Public Television - he explains what he does and how he helps people “open a doorway into the wide world of music.” He chronicles his travels (currently in Africa) on his blog.

Our 2012 session runs from 2pm on June 24 to 5pm on July 8. Apply now! And remember… ability to pay is never a factor in the selection process. Scholarship funding and financial aid is available!
