Winter Weekend deadline is January 20!

GIV’s Interdisciplinary Winter Weekend is a super-intensive, accelerated weekend packed full of learning and fun! This February 10-12th, you can explore subjects you’re passionate about, gain exciting new skills and ideas, and make new friends from all over Vermont. Focus on Current Issues, Arts, Engineering, or Information Technology!  All Governor’s Institutes are affordable for all Vermonters, so sign up today!

Register now for Winter Weekend!

Spend the weekend of February 11-13 at Goddard College in Plainfield with other students from all around Vermont!  Sign up for Performing or Visual Arts, Engineering, or Current Issues.  But do it now….  the deadline is January 21!  The weekend costs $179 (including room & board), and scholarships are available if you qualify.

Winter Weekend now open! Feb 11-13, 2011

The Governor’s Institutes of Vermont present Winter Weekend 2011!

Winter Weekend will be held at Goddard College in Montpelier from Feb 11 through 13, 2011.  All Vermont high school students are eligible for admission, whether or not they have been to a Governor’s Institute before.  Each student will choose a strand:

  • Arts
  • Engineering
  • Current Issues

and work with a dynamic group of faculty and students for an intense 48-hour GIV experience!  The cost of the weekend is $179, which includes room and board.  Financial aid is available, so apply now!  Admission is first come, first served.
